PRINTING MATTERS: The value of printed graphics in the era of Digital

Bookcity Milano 2023

“Who are we, who is each of us if not a combinatorics of experiences, of information, of readings, of imaginations? Every life is an encyclopedia, a library, an inventory of objects, a sample of styles, where everything can be continually reshuffled and reordered in all possible ways.”
Calvin I., 1988, American Lessons. Six proposals for the next millennium.

A round table and an exhibition. A multidisciplinary learning experience to talk about graphics, art, and the sense of craftsmanship in an increasingly digital world. For this event I was responsible for creating the graphic system used to set up the area where the illustrations of the Graphic Design and Comics and Concept Design classes of the Mohole School were exhibited, created for Inchiostro Festival together with the catalogs in which all the works.

PRINTING MATTERS is an event organized for the Bookcity Milan circuit by Scuola Mohole and Paper&People with the support of Lievito Creative Lab and Inchiostro Festival.
